SoftwareAG’s Innovation World 2015: Investec explains how they enabled their DevOps process with CrossVista TEAM Server for webMethods!!!

At the recent SoftwareAG Innovation World 2015 conference held in Las Vegas, Nevada, Richard Roché & Brett Coomer, two members of Investec’s webMethods Architecture and Development Team, detailed their experiences implementing CrossVista TEAM Server for webMethods.  They explained how Investec was using Software AG’s webMethods suite to enable several business-critical processes and outlined how they integrated CrossVista TEAM Server for webMethods for their DevOps solution.

In their session they…

…provided examples of how Investec’s implementation of CrossVista TEAM Server for webMethods resulted in fewer bugs in production.

…outlined their resulting efficiency gains in their end-to-end DevOps process.

…provided examples of simplified routine operational activities.

…and recognized the improvements in their overall level of confidence with their development and operational processes.

All this while allowing the existing team to deliver capabilities to the Bank faster and in a more consistent and reliable manner.

At the end of the Investec presentation, CrossVista’s Vice President of Sales, Dan Schirf, joined Investec on stage in order to provide an update on the capabilities of CrossVista TEAM Server.  He spoke to the product improvements that more closely incorporate other Software AG product offerings, as well as 3rd party tool integrations requested, or developed, by existing CrossVista Customers and Partners.  Specifically, he spoke to extending CrossVista TEAM Server’s DevOps processes to provide a bidirectional capability for ARIS, CentraSite, Alfabet, Jenkins, Software AG’s Global Consulting Services (GCS) Test Tool, and more.

Dan summed it all up by observing, “It seems that every year the customer presentations just get better and better.  Investec’s implementation was an excellent example of how CrossVista TEAM Server for webMethods can enable a customized DevOps process for your webMethods development lifecycle.”
