IBM WebSphere Philadelphia User Group – CrossVista presents Release Management 101 with Scriptless DevOps for WebSphere (IIB, WAS, & MQ)

Maintaining context between changes across multiple technologies within a single IT project is a huge challenge.

During this presentation and demo, Jim Bernstein and Pete DiStefano from CrossVista will focus on how CrossVista’s Scriptless DevOps Engine can seamlessly discover, track, organize, manage, and audit the changes to IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS), IBM WebSphere Integration Bus (IIB), IBM WebSphere MQ, a JDBC compliant database, and external files in a coordinated fashion from Development thru to Production.

They will show how code and/or configuration changes (from the various technologies) can be easily captured in your preferred VCS in an organized fashion while maintaining context within your baseline such that the correct changes to WAS are constantly connected to any related changes to IIB, MQ, etc. This brings a level of consistency to your WebSphere projects that did not exist before… and it is all done without the need to repeatedly write scripts to orchestrate your end-to-end SDLC process.

They will also touch on how CrossVista TEAM Server can work cooperatively with other DevOps tools such as IBM UrbanCode and IBM Rational Test Workbench.

Hope you will join us.

The meeting will be held in Wayne, PA on August 24, 2016 from noon to 5 PM EST.  Details will be provided to registered users.  Please click below for more information and a link to the registration page.

https://www.imwuc.org/p/ca/vi/sid=305CrossVista provides a “Scriptless” DevOps solution for enterprise applications that manages change across the SDLC from Development through Production Deployment and everywhere in-between.  The scriptless engine is integrated with technologies such as IBM IIB, MQ and WAS, SoftwareAG’s webMethods platform, Informatica’s PowerCenter,  Salesforce.com, databases, file based systems, and more.  The engine eliminates the need for complex scripts normally required to support these technologies… no more writing a bunch of scripts to manage your processes.
