CrossVista Tech Meet Up Terms and Conditions

All attendees must register for the conference themselves. By agreeing to these terms, you certify that you are above the age of 21.

Health and safety protocols

CrossVista cares about the health and safety of our customers, partners, employees, and communities. We continue to monitor local COVID-19 protocols and mandates to ensure we can meet them in the safest way possible. As of June 21st, 2023, the state does not have any vaccination and/or mask mandates. Masks are still recommended for individuals who are not fully vaccinated and those with underlying health conditions. These protocols and mandates may change at any time. We will do our best to communicate any changes as they arise and appreciate your cooperation to ensure we can gather in a safe and compliant manner.

CrossVista reserves the right to refuse registration or tickets to anyone for any reason. If CrossVista rescinds your registration, CrossVista will not be liable for any incidental damages, such as flight, hotel, or other related expenses.

Travel expenses

If registrants require travel to attend, all reservations and expenses to attend are the responsibility of the traveler. Transportation to/from the event and/or parking onsite are the responsibility of the attendee.

Terms for use of attendee photos or likeness

By registering, attendees grant CrossVista Inc., (“CrossVista”), and its agents the right to take photographs or videos of them during Tech Meetup activities.

Attendees grant CrossVista and its agents, assignees, and transferees the worldwide right to use, copy, distribute, exhibit, broadcast, transmit, perform, publish, and display the photos/videos of attendees, with or without names and biographic material, in any media including in print and electronic. CrossVista may use the photos/videos for any lawful purpose including, but not limited to, publicity, marketing, and advertising.

Attendees understand that CrossVista may process personal information collected in connection with likeness, voice, or portrait or included in the materials, in accordance with the CrossVista Privacy Policy.

CrossVista is under no obligation to compensate attendees. Attendees agree that CrossVista is the exclusive copyright owner of the photographs/videos.

Attendees further understand that content posted to social networks will be subject to the social network’s applicable terms and privacy policy.

Photo and recording restrictions

The use of any device to capture images and sound, live stream, upload, or rebroadcast speakers or presentations is strictly prohibited at all official CrossVista event meetings, sessions, and events without express written consent from CrossVista.

CrossVista event code of conduct

CrossVista is committed to promoting a corporate culture that is centered on integrity, accountability, and ethical business conduct. CrossVista expects all event attendees to adhere to high ethical standards and to avoid engaging in any activity that involves even the appearance of impropriety. By attending or participating in a CrossVista event, the registrant agrees to adhere to this code of conduct.

CrossVista affirms the principle of equal employment and business opportunities without regard to any protected characteristic, including, but not limited to, race, religious creed, national origin, color, sex or gender, gender identity or expression, age, mental or physical disability, mental condition, pregnancy, marital status, national origin/ancestry, genetic information, political affiliation, military and protected veteran status, sexual orientation, or any other characteristic protected under federal or state law or local ordinance. CrossVista policy prohibits harassment in any form and CrossVista expects event attendees to practice and promote an event environment free from harassment and discrimination.

CrossVista reserves the right to limit attendance at its events, at its sole discretion. If an attendee does not comply with this code of conduct, CrossVista reserves the right to remove them from the event, prohibit attendance at future CrossVista events, and/or pursue other means necessary to appropriately address failure to comply with the code.
